PITCH:

For my script project, I am very interested in partaking in the psychological thriller genre. There would be two main characters, a mother (name tbd) and her daughter (name tbd) who venture off on a mother daughter vacation to try and rekindle their relationship. The vacation will take place in Toronto (subject to change) and the mother decides to rent an Airbnb. However, the story takes a horrific turn when the owners of the home are not who they say they are. The two women must work together in order to get out of the house alive. 

Moreover, the general theme is the power of a mother daughter relationship. The story will take place in today’s society. In the beginning, audiences will think that the conflict is between the mother and daughter, however the real conflict is between the two women and the home owners.

A young mother and her daughter decide to travel on an adventurous vacation in order to try and rekindle their relationship. However, their vacation takes a turn when the rental home staff does not seem to be who they really are.
